A Line Manager is a requester's direct supervisor. Oftentimes, an approval workflow requires a requester's line manager to review a leave request, budget approval, invoice, etc. Form Workflow Plus makes it easy for a workflow creator to set this via the "Set Line Manager as reviewer" option when creating a conditional approval.
For this feature to work, make sure the following are properly set up:
- Add requesters as users via the web app (https://app.formworkflowplus.com) and set the email address for their respective Line Managers. Detailed instructions here: How can I add a Line Manager to my workflow?
- Make sure the Google Form collects the requester's email address. On the Edit Form view, click on the gear icon on the upper right hand corner then check the "Collect email addresses" box, as shown:
