On a Google Sheet linked to a Google Form, you can quickly set up a validation workflow for each form submission.
It begins from the spreadsheet. You will start Form Workflow Plus from the Add-ons menu and specify your reviewer(s). You can add multiple levels to the process, where a next reviewer acts on the submission after the previous reviewer has done with it. For any level, there can be one reviewer or several.

At any level, you can also set conditions. You can tell the add-on to send one set of requests to one reviewer, and another set of requests to another reviewer, based on the content of the Request Form.
Reviewers will receive an email and will be able to act on the submission by clicking on the Approve Now button. This redirects them to the Web App where they can set a decision. Reviewers have four options: approve, decline, on hold, or send back to requester.
Reviewers can validate multiple requests simultaneously in the Web App. They can also check the status of all their workflow requests.
Reviewers can be reminded each day by email to process requests "Waiting for approval."
Requesters have access to the Web App to:
- start new requests; All Google Forms set as published on the web app appear in the Forms view
- check the status of their requests
Requester(s) can receive the decision of the reviewer by email.
